MyPinata is used by brands, agencies, and field teams to create, schedule, and manage product sampling events (for example, food and beverage sampling).

Event data is linked to your organization’s account and is used to help manage and track sampling activities.

3. How We Use Your Information

MyPinata uses Google Firebase as its primary backend service to store and manage data.

Firebase may process the following information on our behalf:

• Device or app identifiers needed for app functionality.
• Event and project data created or managed within the App.

Firebase acts as a data processor/service provider, and we use it only to support the internal operation of the App (for example, storing user accounts and event details).

We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as needed to operate the App and support your organization’s programs, or as required by law.

Your organization may decide how long to keep event and account data. If your account is deactivated, some information may remain in backups for a limited time.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information stored in Firebase and within the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

MyPinata is intended for use by adults and authorized staff in professional or organizational contexts. It is not directed to children under the age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, update, or request deletion of your personal information.
